Paying a business with Ortix

In shortWhen a business takes payment through Ortix, you scan their QR code, check the details on your screen, pick cash or crypto, and confirm. If the QR won't scan, the business can find you by your email or username instead. You'll need an Ortix account; there's no guest checkout.

Paying a business that accepts Ortix takes seconds:

  1. Scan their QR code. On your phone, it can drop you straight into the Ortix app instead.
  2. Check the details. The amount and who's getting paid, right on your screen. Nothing has moved yet.
  3. Pick how to pay. Cash from a balance, or crypto. Your choice.
  4. Confirm. The business gets paid, you get your confirmation, everyone moves on with their day.

Change your mind before confirming? Just don't confirm. The payment cancels and nothing happens.

QR code won't scan? No need to start over. The business can find you by your email or username instead and send the payment request straight to you. Same payment, different doorway.

You'll need an Ortix account to pay this way. There's no guest checkout, so if a friend wants to pay an Ortix business, their first stop is signing up and topping up.
