Paying contractors through Ortix
In shortPay contractors straight into their Ortix accounts, in cash or crypto, without running banking rails per country or using a separate payout provider.
If you pay a distributed group of contractors, Ortix can be the payout rail instead of a payroll platform or a third-party provider. The contractor’s payout destination is their everyday Ortix account, so there is no separate withdrawal step at the end.
What that removes:
- Separate banking arrangements for each country you pay into.
- A third-party payout provider between you and the person you are paying.
- The wait while a contractor moves money from a payout wallet to their own bank.
The shape of it is simple: you fund your company account, your contractors join Ortix by invitation, and each payout moves from your balance to theirs.
You can top up your company account at any time. You do not have to wait for a payout to be due before funding it, and having a balance ready is the difference between a payout that completes now and one that waits.
See Getting your people onto Ortix for how contractors join, and Sending a payout for what happens when you pay one.
