What is a Shared Space?

In shortA Space is a shared money area with a purpose: a trip, the rent, an event. Give it a target, invite people by @handle or QR code, and everyone contributes and watches the progress together. No spreadsheet, no chasing.

So much of real life spending is shared: the trip, the household, the birthday dinner. And traditional banking pretends it isn't, leaving you with a spreadsheet and a group chat full of "who still owes?" A Shared Space replaces all of that.

Create a Space for the purpose, give it a savings or spending target if you want one, and invite people the easy way: their @handle or a QR code. From then on, everyone in the Space can put money in and see the balance and activity, live. Nobody's chasing anybody, because everybody's looking at the same numbers.
