Apple Pay and Google Pay

In shortAdd any Ortix card to Apple Pay or Google Pay the second it's created, virtual cards included. You can tap to pay with your phone or watch before any plastic ever reaches your mailbox.

Any Ortix card goes into Apple Pay or Google Pay right after it's created. Your virtual card works for this immediately, so "my physical card hasn't arrived" never has to mean "I can't pay".

Here's how it works: when you add a card to your phone, your real card number is never stored on the device or shared with shops. A substitute number, a token, stands in for it. Lose the phone, and we switch off that token on its own. Your actual card doesn't need replacing, because it was never on the phone in the first place.

If a payment through Apple Pay or Google Pay declines, it's almost never a wallet problem. It's the same causes as any card decline, usually a balance or a verification step.
