My verification didn’t pass

In shortIf the automatic check doesn't pass, a real person takes over for a manual review, and most finish within a couple of days. Only if that human review also fails does your payout go out another way instead. A failed automatic check never means losing your money.

Here's what actually happens, in order:

  • The automatic check runs first. Most people pass here and never think about it again.
  • Didn't pass? Your case goes to a real person for manual review. That's a human looking at your situation properly, not a computer repeating no. Most manual reviews finish within a couple of days.
  • Manual review passes? You carry on exactly as normal, payout and all.
  • Manual review doesn't pass? Onboarding through Ortix ends there, and your payout gets arranged through another method instead. The money still reaches you.

The sentence worth reading twice: a failed automatic check does not mean you don't get paid. It means a person takes a proper look. And if your review seems to be taking longer than it should, message us and we'll check on it for you.
