Acting for someone else

In shortWe can only discuss an account with the person who holds it, or with someone holding documented legal authority such as a power of attorney. Send that authority in writing.

We do not discuss or act on an account with anyone other than the account holder. That includes a spouse, a parent, a partner, or a friend, and it includes confirming whether an account exists at all.

The exception is documented legal authority: a power of attorney, a court order, or similar. If you hold that, send it in writing to legal@ortix.com with your own identification. It is reviewed there, not in live chat, and nobody in Support can accept it on the spot however clear it is.

On a company account, a team member with the right role can act within that role without any of this. See Team roles, permissions and two-person approval.

If you want someone to help you with your own account, the simplest route is to have them with you while you use it. Never give them your passcode or your codes. Those are yours alone, and we would treat anyone using them as you.
